When will this never-ending covid surge end, we may never know? The statistics and graphs show that covid is still on the rise and once a wave ends another. I believe that our lives will forever be indulged in this covid wave, and I believe this never-ending wave has been caused by us as humans. We have people who consistently refuse to believe that this pandemic is real and we also have others who want to refuse rules that the government is placing down to keep us safe. This wave will never end until everyone comes to their senses and does what is right. The constant disregard for this pandemic is what is keeping this pandemic afloat, and we need to work together to make sure it does not take away the lives we all want to get back to. The new normal will be influenced by this pandemic and we have to get used to living with this. I believe that until we decide to take care of ourselves and try to resist the temptations of going out as often as possible we can get over all of this unknown. All the world needs right now is some calm and the best way to do it is to stay home and just keep your family safe while also keeping others safe.
There are so many ways we can relate the surge in covid cases to mathematics. From analysing graphs to see trends and predict what's going to happen to even just checking how the public is buying sanitising materials. If we all analysed a graph with how covid cases have been throughout the last year is it quite evident to see that they have been spiking in waves. When these waves spike people tend to take it a lot more seriously which then causes the number of cases to go down as a result. The problem occurs when these cases do go down because people feel as if they are now free and can do whatever they want. After analysing these graphs it is evident that people need to continue their safety measures throughout this pandemic regardless of the overall case count. The patterns in how people sanitise products are also clear because people will buy sanitising materials when they feel that they need them the most. If people continued to buy and use sanitising materials even when the cases are diminished it will stay low and we would not have to worry about another wave.
